Tony Eugene Sweat was born December 11, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Peggy Marie Gray Sweat and the late W. E. Sweat.
He was united in marriage to Tracye Cannon on December 28, 2007.
Tony was employed as a security guard for Aqua Yacht Harbor in Iuka, MS, and also continued the family business as an antique dealer and refinisher. Most of all, he was a full-time son, brother, father, and papaw. His smile and big heart will be greatly missed.
Tony departed this life on May 14, 2011 at the age of 51 Years, 5 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by his wife Tracye (Cannon) Sweat of Clifton, TN; his mother, Peggy Marie Sweat Hamm and step-father Jerry Hamm of Adamsville, TN; a daughter: Tonya Lowery and husband Brandon of Savannah, TN; Tracye's daughters Carrie Baskin, and Alana Allread, both of Savannah, TN; two sons, Shawn Sweat and wife Cayla of Burnt Church and Gabriel Sweat of Savannah, TN; five grandchildren: McKenna Holcombe, Draven Holcombe, Allie, and Austin, all of Savannah, TN and Carabella Sweat of Burnt Church; a sister, Vickie Franks and husband Garry of Bruton Branch; a step-brother, Keith Hamm and family of Corinth, MS; maternal grandmother Mildred Fletcher of Adamsville, TN; and numerous relatives and friends who love him dearly.
In addition to his father, Tony was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Bill and Vela Sweat, and maternal grandfather Jack Gray.
