Travis Devon Burks

Travis Devon Burks was born on November 9, 1952 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late William Sid and Frances Virginia Harville Harmon. 

On May 14, 1970, he was united in marriage to Linda Janelle Pickens, who survives. 

Travis retired from Brown Shoe Company after 22 years as an Assistant Supervisor. He was a member of Turkey Creek Union Church. Travis loved playing country music and gardening. 

Travis Devon Burks departed this life on July 30, 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 21 days. 

He is survived by wife, Linda Burks of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Richard Dean Burks and wife Vickie and Christopher Scott Burks and wife Pamela, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Don Harmon and Ebb Harmon both of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Jolene Burks and Hannah Burks. 

In addition to his parents, Travis was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Burks and Oscar Neal Burks.
