Travis A. Leitschuh, Sr. of Adamsville, Tennessee, was born on April 10, 1936, son of the late Alfred W. Leitschuh and Estelle Pierce Leitschuh. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War.Travis was a member of the Selmer Primitive Baptist Church. He was co-owner of L and L Mechanical Contractors in Adamsville. He passed from this life on Friday, August 28, 2009, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 18 days.Survivors are his wife, Nancy Copeland Leitschuh, of Adamsville; a daughter, Elizabeth Lynne Pickens and husband Stephen of Semer, Tennessee; two sons, Travis A. Leitschuh, Jr. and wife Jamie of Michie, Tennessee, and Jonathan Paul Leitschuh and wife Melissa of Adamsville; three sisters, Rena Wilburn of Michigan City, Mississippi, Martha Leitschuh Stewart of Franklin, Tennessee, Edith Leitschuh of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Willis Leitschuh of Crump, Tennessee, Roger Leitschuh of Adamsville, Jerry Leitschuh of Bolivar, Tennessee; six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents, Travis was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dickey Leitschuh and Leon Leitschuh.
