Treasa A. Highland

Treasa A. Highland, 55, of Savannah, Tennessee departed this life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was born on April 26, 1969 in Savannah, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late R.C. Highland of Savannah, Tennessee and Shirley Ann Highland of South Bend, Indiana.

Treasa devoted her time to being an outstanding nurse, friend, aunt, and to many, she was a "second mom". She loved her dogs and her some Tennessee Vols!

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. and Shirley Highland; brothers, J.C. Highland, Denny Highland, Larry Highland, Greg Highland, David Earl Smith, Ben Jones, and Casey Jones; and her sisters, Joyce Golomski and Sandra Perry.

Treasa is survived by her sister, Helen Jones of Indiana; fiance', Rick Plunk of Savannah, Tennessee; nephew, who she thought of as a son, Joey Highland of Savannah, Tennessee; 22 nieces and nephews; 36 great nieces and great nephews; and several great great nieces and great great nephews.

Treasa will forever be remembered as that mouthy, yet loving, nurse who worked countless hours on and off the clock, loved her Tennessee Vols, and loved her friends and family beyond measure.
