TROY L. GRAHAM
Adamsville, TN: Troy Lee Graham age 88 passed away Monday morning, December 26, 2016 at Adamsville Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
He was born May 8, 1928 in Bolton, TN (Shelby County) the son of the late John Calvin and Herman Whittle Graham. He entered the Army Air Force.
After the service, he married Addis Gary in 1949. They made their home at Memphis, where he was in construction work as a brick mason and also a contractor. They returned to Milledgeville in 1969. Mrs. Graham died in 2002.
He was a member of the Brick Layers Union Local #1 in Memphis fifty plus years, now Local Union #5 of Nashville. He loved to fish, hunt and garden.
He had made his home at the Adamsville Healthcare & Rehabilitation for the past twenty years.
Mr. Graham is survived by a son, Barkley S. Graham and wife Barbara of Stantonville, TN; a grandson, Steven Lee Graham and a great grandchild, Caroline Graham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Addis Gary Graham, two brothers, James (J.C.) Graham and Marvin Graham and three sisters, Pauline Williams, Mary Sue Aring and Irmogene Keane.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Dannie Kennedy officiating. Graveside Committal Service will follow in Memory Hill Gardens in Memphis, TN at 1:00 PM Wednesday.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
