Velma Louise Robinsonwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 29, 1922 the daughter of the late Hardin Bland and Kate Sue Hulen Neill.On November 30, 1946, she was united in marriage to Orville D. Robinson, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2007.Mrs. Robinson worked as a Cook for White's Elementary School. She loved to quilt, and was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church and White's Home Demonstration Club.Mrs. Robinson departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the age of 87 years, 14 days.Mrs. Robinson is survived by a son, Donald Robinson and wife Shirley of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Rita Coleman and husband Keith of Corinth, Mississippi; 2 sisters, Cleo Webb and Margaret Rich both of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Lamanda Taylor, Christy Dickson, Rhonda Tharp, Clint Coleman, and Cody Coleman; 7 great-grandchildren, Brad Gattis, Aubrey Taylor, Riley Taylor, Jordan Dickson, Ty Dickson, Brandon Tharp, and River Tharp.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Junior Neill and Richard Neill; 2 sisters, Kat Neill and Grace Young; a grandson, Tracy Robinson; a great-grandson, Jacob Tharp.
