Vernon D. Clausel 80 of Katy, Texas died Wednesday, February 11, 2015.

He was born in Savannah, Tennessee on June 9, 1934 the son of the late Charlie W. and Annie Mae Duckworth Clausel.

Vernon was the owner of All - Sew Embroidery in Pasadena, Texas. He was the owner of Arkansas Jubilee in Marion Arkansas and he was a professional singer and musician.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria, son, Danny and three grandchildren, Nina, Zak and Stephen, all of Texas and one sister, Martha Clausel Freese of Savannah.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Swan, Clinton, Glenn and Archie and two sisters, Kathie and Kate.
