Vetta Jane Wisdom

Vetta Jane Fraley Wisdom of Lawrenceburg, TN was born July 28, 1923 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charles Heber and Pina Treadwell Fraley. She was united in marriage to James Howard Wisdom on December 2, 1943 and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1985.
Mrs. Wisdom was retired from Linden Products and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Mrs. Wisdom departed this life on Friday, April 29, 2011 at her home at the age of 87 Years, 9 Months, 1 Day.
She is survived by daughters, Marsha Dixon, Lawrenceburg, TN, Donna Sweeney, Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, John Dixon, Jana Staggs, Cayce Sweeney, Clay Sweeney; great-grandchildren, Tanner Staggs, Grayson Dixon, Luc Staggs; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wisdom was preceded in death by brothers, Eula Fraley and James Fraley; a sister, Nona Burns.
Services will be Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Alexander W. Delk and Ray Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, directing. Pallbearers will be Marty Fraley, Michael Fraley, Gary Fraley, Cayce Sweeney, Clay Sweeney, Terry Staggs.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 1 pm to service time at the funeral home.
