She had worked for Selmer Apparel. Ms. Shelby enjoyed decorating, flowers, gardening, and collecting jewelry. She had lived in Hardin and McNairy County all of her life.Ms. Shelby departed this life on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the age of 51 years, 9 months, 14 days.In addition to her parents, she is survived by 4 sons, James Scott Pogue, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee, Jeremy Lane Pogue of Arlington, Texas, Daniel Coy Parson of Adamsville, Tennessee and Ryan Dale Parson of Selmer, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Pogue, Dustin Pogue, Colton Pogue and Jacob Pogue; 2 brothers, Jimmy Hollis Shelby, Jr. of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Tracy Lee Shelby of Adamsville, Tennessee; a sister, Lorinda Shelby Phillips of Counce, Tennessee; partner, Phillip Byrum of Adamsville, Tennessee; special dog, Marley.Ms. Shelby was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James Scott Pogue, Sr.; 2nd husband, Danny Parson; a sister, Kimberly Dawn Shelby; grandparents, Brownloe and Dorthy Shelby, Hayes and Ruby Scott.
