Vida Bishop

Vida Meek Bishop was born December 6, 1911 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Robert Bob and Nancy Jane Meek.On September 14, 1934, she was united in marriage to Otis Bishop who preceded her in death on December 23, 1990.Mrs. Bishop was reitred from Mattel Manufacturing. She was a member of the Milledgedville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts, flower gardening, and keeping her home very neat. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by four sisters, Bessica Seaton, Corie Newman, Ira Johnson and Dee Pugh and five brothers, Jessie Meek, Floyed Meek, Ethel Meek, Cleburn Meek and Jim Meek.Services will be held on January 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Milledgeville United Methodist Church in Milledgeville, Tennessee, with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville, Tennessee
