Viola Pridus McCormick Julian was born October 24, 1917 in Henderson County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Leander Edwin and Hettie Viola Weatherington McCormick.
She was united in marriage to William Earby Julian on December 1, 1934. Mr. Julian preceded her in death on July 14, 2006.
Mrs. Julian was a Homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church. She attended the Senior Citizens Center in Adamsville, TN for many years and enjoyed it very much. She was a very special wife and mother. She and Mr. Julian raised 7 children and raised them very well.
Mrs. Julian departed this life on August 28, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 10 Months, 4 Days.
She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Moore and husband David of Finger, TN, Faye Plunk of Finger, TN, Glenda Carol Ingle and husband Tommy of Ramer, TN, Janice Henry and husband Alvin of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Jerry Julian and wife Sue of Finger, TN, Jimmy Julian and wife Jan of Henderson, TN; a sister, Jean Mullins of Jackson, TN; a brother, Neal McCormick of Chillicothe, IL; 11 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Verblene McCormick of Adamsville, TN who was always there.
A host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Julian was preceded in death by a daughter, Reba Carroll; a great-granddaughter, Rebekah Clark; three sisters, Arlene Moore, Oletta Jamerson, Georgia Baker; eight brothers, Lyman McCormick, Deward McCormick, Carman McCormick, Earl McCormick, Lloyd McCormick, Max McCormick, Willie Dean McCormick, and a brother who died as an infant.
