Virdie Ann Kramer

Virdie Ann Brewer Kramer of Florence, AL was born February 16, 1930 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George and Laura Brewer. She was united in marriage to Arnold Kramer on September 22, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2006. Mrs. Kramer was retired from General Motors in Detroit, MI. and was of the Baptist faith.She departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 79 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days.Survivors, brother, James M. Brewer of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Freda Jones of Florence, AL; special great-nieces, Jan Klett and husband, Charley and Kayla and Chrystal Hollis and several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kramer was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Billy J., and Allen Brewer and sisters, Leona Fair and Ervie Rowden.Services will be Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Donnie Overton officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
