Virgil Winfred Moody

Virgil Winfred Moody was born September 15, 1930 in Blytheville, Arkansas the son of the late Virgil S. and Lethia Russell Moody.He was united in marriage to Willie Louise Moore on January 18, 1957. Mrs. Moody preceded him in death on November 5th, 2000.Mr. Moody was a self employed plastering contractor for 50 years. He was a member of the Central Church in Memphis , Tennessee.Mr. Moody departed this life on February 24, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 5 Months, 9 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Hawkins and husband Darren of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Russell A. Moody of Memphis, TN, Dr. Walter E. Moody of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Hawkins, Easton Reid Hawkins, Sophie Alyia-Marie Hawkins.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Moody was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Marie Dunn.
