Jackson, TN: Virginia Lee Smith Davis age 63 passed away December 28, 2013 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born November 14, 1950 in Henderson, the daughter of Elec C. and the late Addie Lee Ross Smith. She was a beloved mother of three children and spent her life caring for them as a homemaker. She loved shopping, growing flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Regina Lee Foutch and husband Glenn of Olive Branch, MS and two sons, Greg L. Davis and wife Leigh Anne of Alabaster, AL and Tracy Lee Davis and wife Carla of Jackson, TN; her father, Elic C. Smith of Henderson; grandchildren, Aaron Davis, John Davis, Noah Davis, Madison Davis, Joseph Davis, Rebecca Foutch, Savannah Foutch, Ethan Foutch, Holden Foutch, William Foutch and Jackson Foutch; nieces, Jennifer Wilson and Bonita Tabor.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Lee Ross Smith, a brother, Terry Smith and a nephew, Joe Terry Smith.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday January 2, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Larry Taylor and Glenn Foutch officiating and burial will follow in Roby Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM Thursday until funeral time at 1:00 PM.
