Mrs. Doyle passed away Sunday afternoon at Bordeaux Nursing Home in Nashville.
The widow of Arlan E. "Boy" Doyle, who died July 28, 1998 after 54 years of marriage, she was a homemaker and seamstress. Mrs. Doyle was born June 21, 1925 in Hardeman County to the late Herman Cossar and Evie Gatewood Cossar and lived 50 years in Nashville. She was Baptist in belief and enjoyed gardening with her husband.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Bill Doyle and Nancy of Nashville; three grandchildren, Susan Hardy of Mt. Juliet, Billy Doyle of Murfreesboro and Melissa Caples of Hermitage; three great grandchildren, Megan Morales of Mt. Juliet and Blake and Chase Doyle, both of Murfreesboro; one great great grandchild, Braxton Trimboli of Mt. Juliet; and four sisters, Inez Baker and Margaret Mayfield, both of Bolivar, Mary King of Nashville and Shirley Lowrance of Hornsby. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Caples.
