Virginia Susan McAnally

Virginia Susan Laningham McAnally, age 81, of Bolivar departed

this life on October 21, 2012, at the Blue Ridge Hospice in

Winchester, VA.



Mrs. McAnally was born April 7, 1931 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the

late Thomas and Bonnie Hodges Laningham. She was united in

marriage to the late Freddie J. McAnally of Bolivar on June 4,

1949. Highly inquisitive in nature, she enjoyed family, traveling,

sewing and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy to

her grandchildren. Mrs. McAnally was a homemaker, member of the

Bolivar Bridge Club and member of Eastern Star. She went to live

with her son, Thomas, in Virginia in May 2009.



She is survived by sister-in-law Amelia Luthe, two sons, Thomas H.

and William T. McAnally, granddaughters Shawna White, Kelli

Patterson, Tamera Gonzalez de Beltran, Sarah and Nikki McAnally,

grandson Will McAnally, seven great granddaughters, numerous

nieces and nephews and their children.



In addition to her husband, Mrs. McAnally was preceded in death by

three sisters, one brother, a son Freddie Lloyd, granddaughter

Candice Faye and grandson Thomas Javan “TJ”.
