Virginia Casteel Moore

Virginia Casteel Moore was born January 27, 1938 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Elmer and Alma Johnson Tilley.

On March 26, 1955 she was united in marriage to her first husband James Casteel, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2009. She was later united in marriage to Gene Wesley Moore who survives.

Mrs. Moore was a Machine Operator for 35 years at Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the New Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Mrs. Moore departed this life on January 15, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Travis Casteel of Lexington, TN; two stepsons, David Moore, Charlie Moore; two sisters, Pauline , Susie; four grandchildren, Jennifer Rich of Savannah, TN, Felicia Casteel, Chasity Casteel, and Amy Casteel; five great grandchildren, Payton Rich, Lilly Rich, Dalton Smith, Madison Smith, James Casteel; two great great grandchildren, Noah Jase Casteel, and Aubrey Casteel.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Casteel, and two brothers.
