Mrs. Virginia Lee McKelvy ReddinVirginia Lee McKelvy Reddin was born May 25, 1919 in the Montezuma Community, the daughter of the late Banks Muse and Zula Frances McKelvy. She was married to James Elbert Reddin on January 26, 1944. She worked at Salant and Salant, and later was the first female Bus Driver for the Chester County School System. She was a member of the Montezuma Methodist Church.Mrs. Reddin died Saturday night at the Chester County Health Care.Mrs. Reddin is survived by a daughter Judy Morrison (Andy), son Jimmy Reddin (Brenda); six grandchildren, Melisa Smith (Ken), Mark Morrison (Dani), Mitch Morrison (Jennifer), Michelle Reddin, Crystal Wilson (Chris), and Amber Carter (Nathan);eight Great Grandchildren, Blake and Kendyl Smith, Daryl and Garrett Morrison, Brycen Morrison, and Madelyn, Blakely, and Gunner Wilson. In Addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband of sixty-five years James; and one brother William Hendrix McKelvy.Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with burial to follow in the Montezuma Cemetery.
