Virginia Riddell

Virginia Haynes Riddellwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 12, 1916 the daughter of the late James F. and Lucille Walker Haynes.On February 27, 1936, she was united in marriage to Bill Riddell, who preceded her in death on June 19, 1974.Mrs. Riddell was a lifelong Hardin Countian and the retired Owner of Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of the East End United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bowling, traveling, and shopping.Mrs. Riddell departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the age of 95 years, 6 months, 10 days.She is survived by her grandson, David Paul Riddell, Jr. and wife Tammy of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 great grandchildren, David Paul Riddell, II, Vivian Riddell, and Emma Riddell; daughter-in-law, Jane Riddell of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Riddell; grandson, John Riddell; sisters, Sarah Carroll and Nita Harrison; brother, Dr. Burr Haynes.
