Virginia "Ginny Sue" Stricklin

Virginia "Ginny Sue" Stricklin was born on March 14, 1957 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Edward and Margie Grimes Wilkerson. 

On April 18, 1975, he was united in marriage to Herbert "Herbie" Stricklin, who preceded her in death on June 14, 2017. 

Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Virginia loved the Senior Olympics, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids.

Virginia "Ginny Sue" Stricklin departed this life on January 20, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 6 days. 

She is survived her daughter, Christy Ruth (Andy) of Saltillo, Tennessee; son, Kevin Stricklin (Vanessa) of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Sandra DeShazier (Walker) of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Jazlyn Stricklin, Billy Stricklin, Aubrey Stricklin, and Lily Mia Ruth.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Billy Wayne Stricklin; brothers, Jimmy Leon Wilkerson and Bobby Edward Wilkerson; and sisters, Betty Jean Wilkerson and Windy Michelle Wheeler.
