Virginia Moore Wilbanks

Rachel Virginia Moore Wilbanks was born November 17, 1932 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late Chester Moore and Thelma King Moore. 

Virginia was united in marriage to Paul Wilbanks on December 24, 1958. Mr. Wilbanks preceded her in death on February 18, 2016.

Mrs. Wilbanks was a seamstress before retiring. She was a member of the Gooch Church of Christ. She enjoyed participating in various church events and found joy in being surrounded by her church family. She found delight in solving puzzles of all kinds.

She departed this life on November 20, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 3 Days.

Virginia is survived by a daughter, Susan Broadway and husband Billy of Pocahontas, TN; a grandchild, Ashley Broadway Hickman and husband Josh; two great grandchildren, Zach and Stella Hickman all of Guys, TN; two brothers, Travis Moore, Roy Moore and wife Ann all of Selmer, TN; sisters-in-law: Margie Moore of Hornsby, TN, Charlene Wilbanks of Selmer, TN, and Louise Wilbanks; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wilbanks was preceded in death by a son, Richard Wilbanks; a brother, George Thomas Moore; in-laws: Claude and Bernice Wilbanks, Billie King, Junior Wilbanks, Fred and Earline Wilbanks, Wayne Wilbanks, Jerry Wilbanks, and Glen Wilbanks.
