Mrs. Geer died early Saturday morning at St. Frances Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
She was born in Middleton, the daughter of the late Will Dewey Stewart and Athalia McBride Stewart. She had lived most of her life in Memphis where she was employed by Kimberly-Clark. The widow of Joe Geer, she was a member of Middleton 1st United Methodist Church and a 1940 graduate of Middleton High School.
She leaves her son, Don Tidwell of Memphis; seven sisters, Verlon Baker of Hornsby, Dorothy Williams of Bolivar, Mackye Hosse and Faye Gullet, both of Memphis, Jeanette Harrell of Walnut, Mary Elizabeth Vincent of Saulsbury and Brenda James of Baldwin, MS; and two brothers, J. D. and Delbert Stewart, both of Middleton.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Geer was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Young and Christine Stewart.
