W. C. Dodd

W.C. DODD

was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on November 21, 1947 the son of the late Warren Cecil and Willie Marie Faulkner Dodd.

On November 25, 1967 he was united in marriage to Jerline Mitchell, who survives.

Mr. Dodd was a truck driver for the Hardin County Highway Department for 26 years. He also had worked for Johnson Construction and T.V.A. Mr. Dodd attended Abram's United Methodist Church. He was a very hard working man and loved to drive his 18 wheeler. Mr. Dodd liked to hunt and fish and always had a love for children. He was a former resident of the Gillis Mills Community, Burnt Church Community, and Lutts Community.

Mr. Dodd departed this life on September 9, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 19 days.

In addition to his wife, Jerline of 47 years, he is survived by his daughter, Tammy Dodd Baugus and her husband Donald of Savannah, Tennessee.

three sisters, Jimmie Dodd Perry, Martha Ann Dodd Stricklin and Teresa Dodd, all of Savannah, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Jeremy K. Dodd and one brother, David Earl Dodd.
