Services will be held on May 6, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes, James T. "Pete" Turnbow and Oneal Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Thursday, May 5, 4:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, May 6, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN.



Pallbearers; Tanner Weaver; Taylor Weaver; Nick Horton; Logan Horton; Tyler Stricklin; Lester Dixon; James Flippp; Daylan Feeftaller; Adam Flippo; Daniel Flippo; Franklin Cole and Justin Davidson.



Mr. Flippo departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2011Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days.

He was born July 10, 1937 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late William Cleveland Flippo, Sr and Pearl Keeton Flippo. In addition to his parents; Mr. Flippo was preceded in death by his step mother; Mary Flippo;

brothers, Ford Flippo, James Flippo and Vester Hicks Jr.; sister, Magalene Leftwich.



Mr. W.C. was retired from Wayne Farmer Co-Op ; Wayne Co. Highway Dept. as a supervisor, and had worked at Murray Ohio in the pressroom. He was a member and elder of Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He was former pastor at Porters Chapel in Summertown, TN and Faith Tabernacle in Cintronelle, Ala.



He was united in marriage to Ella Ruth Cole on June 27, 1958.



He is survived by his wife Ella Ruth (Cole) Flippo ; son, Cleveland E. Flippo and wife Pam ;a daughter, Delores R. (Flippo) Ashworth and husband Wayne

grandchildren; Brianna Rose Ashworth and Christopher Cleveland Flippo all of Waynesboro, TN. brothers, Leon Flippo of Hohenwald, TN, Bill Hicks of Dearborn Heights, MI; sisters, Pauline Camper of Gainsboro, TN, Mattie Ruth Skelton of Hohenwald, TN, Senia Skelton of Waynesboro, TN, Normalene Mooney of Leitchfield, Ky, Ruby Faye Hammock of Lincoln Park, MI;
