W.C. White departed this life on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the age of 59 years, 1 month, 4 days. He was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 2, 1956, the son of the late Junior and Robbie Bevis White. On July 25, 1975, he was united in marriage to Angela Kay Ford, who survives.
He was employed at Roach Sawmill as a foreman and loved his job there.
W.C. enjoyed all things outdoors including creek swimming with his boys, their friends, and family but especially fishing and hunting. He was a truckdriver at heart and loved driving 18 wheelers. W.C. also enjoyed Tennessee football and traveling to games with his brothers-in-law, cousins, and friends. He would listen to his talented family--Kay, his boys, her brothers and nephews play and sing--and he loved to dance to their music. He loved his church family, praying, leading songs, learning, and visiting with them. Most importantly, he loved his family and friends. Time spent with them was his priority and they loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela Kay Ford White of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Scottie White and Timothy White both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Houston Ford and wife, Elaine of Elkhart, Indiana, Elvin Ford and wife, Joan, Ricky Ford and wife, Glenna, Jimmy Ford, George Ford, and Randy Ford all of Savannah, Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much.
