Services for Walsie Marie Morgan Miller, age 84, will be held on February 8, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood, TN with John E. Banks officiating. Burial following in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-9:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 noon until service time.A native of Wayne County, she was born April 30, 1925 to the late James Grayford and Emma Mable Arnett Morgan. She died Friday, February 5, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Miller, Jr. and brothers Herbert Morgan and James L. Morgan. Mrs. Miller, a member of First Baptist Church, was a homemaker and formerly worked at Angelica in Collinwood. She is survived by sons, Larry E. Miller and wife Kathryn of Collinwood, TN and Roy Dale Miller and wife Janice of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter, Marie Miller Berry and husband Jerry of Collinwood, TN; two grandchildren, Selina Moore and husband Adam and Sabrina Wisdom and husband Chase; great- grandchildren Bradyn Moore, Emmalyn Moore, and was expecting her third great-grandchild.
