Services will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with H.H. Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 3, 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and on Sunday, October 4, 11:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro,TN
Mr. Brewer departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Perry Community Hospital in Linden, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 5 Months, 7 Days. He was born April 24, 1936 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late Santfurd and Ludie Agnes Staggs Brewer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by wife; Madge Brewer; son; Eddie D. Brewer; stepmother; Myrtle Marie Brewer; half brother; Gerald David Brewer and great grandson.
Mr. Brewer worked on air and heating systems.
He is survived by a son, Benjamin Brewer of Panama City Beach, FL;
daughters, Wanda Gail Butler of Iron City, TN, Shirlee Brewer of Panama City Beach, FL, Brenda Brewer of Waynesboro, TN, and Angela Jenkins of Lawrenceburg, TN;
grandchildren and great grandchildren
half brothers; Harold and Lester Brewer
