Walt Fesmire
Henderson: Walter Edward Fesmire, age 71, died January 31, 2018 at Jackson General Hospital.
Mr. Fesmire was born and reared in Henderson County, the son of the late Edward and Estelle Overman Fesmire. He graduated from Northside High School in 1966. He had worked at Porter Cable in Jackson and was a superintendent when he became disabled from an automobile accident 1977. He married Angi Shadowens in 2008 and they made their home in Henderson. He enjoyed carpenter work, painting, and was an avid artist. He was a University of Tennessee sports fan. He served in the Tennessee National Guard from 1967 until 1972.
He is survived by his wife Angi Fesmire of Henderson, a daughter Patti Ivy of Enville, three sons, Todd Fesmire of Beech Bluff, Jeremy Fesmire of Clanton, AL and Devin Fesmire of Henderson, two stepsons, Seth Ring and Sean Ring, a brother James L. Fesmire of Jackson and a sister Barbara Holt of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Collins, Linda, Shirley, and Eulene.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue with Johnny Connor officiating and burial to follow at Sand Ridge Cemetery near Lexington.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 PM Friday.
