Walter Lee Hayslett

Walter Lee Hayslett age 53 of Selmer, TN was born August 7, 1963 in Rossville, TN, the son of the late George Franklin Hayslett Sr. and Lillie Ann Hunt Hayslett. He was a member of the New Jerusalem Faith Apostolic Church in Selmer, Tennessee. Mr. Hayslett was very talented at wood working and also enjoyed fishing and tinkering.
He departed this life on December 13, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 4 Months, 6 Days.

He is survived by his grandmother, Rosie Lee Brown Mason of Selmer, TN; a sister, Patricia Westbrooks and husband Steve of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, George Hayslett Jr. and Thomas Hayslett both of Selmer; a God sister, Lynn Trice of Selmer, TN; uncle, James Hunt of Selmer, TN; nieces and nephews: Steven Westbrooks and wife Sandra of Selmer, TN, Ashley Cruz and husband Eric of Pickwick Dam, TN, Keleshia Amos, Markita Cole, B.J. Strayhorn all of Jackson, TN and Thomas "TJ" Patterson of Pickwick Dam, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayslett was preceded in death by a grandfather, Fred Lou Mason; great nephews, Steven Joshua Westbrooks and Elisha Jerome Westbrooks.
