Walter Stevenson (Steve) Reaves

Walter Stevenson (Steve) Reaves Cypress Inn, TN, was born October 20, 1952 in Richmond, CA, the son of the late Ronald Eugene and Lennie Jean Fraley Reaves. Mr. Reaves had worked in maintenance at Murray Ohio Manufacturing and married Barbara Gayle Skimehorne on November 3, 2012.
He departed this life Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his home at the age of 64 Years, 3 Months, 25 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gayle Skimehorne Reaves of Cypress Inn, TN; sons, Chadd Steven Reaves and wife, Sherry of Collinwood, TN and Danny Lane Lundy; grandchildren, Zackary Steven Reaves, Autumn M. Reaves, Cheyenne Breeze Depriest Brown, Shelby and Dasan Lundy; a brother, James Michael Reaves and companion, Marlia Nelson of Orlando, FL.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reaves was preceded in death by a brother, John David (Shag) Reaves.
Services will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Zack Reaves, Rusty Brown, Jeff Stricklin, Shawn Moore, Dasan Lundy and David Skimehorne.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday, February 17, 2017 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
