Walter Ray Staggs

Services for Walter Ray Staggs will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine and Ricky Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.



Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, July 1, 10:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.



Mr. Ray Staggs of Waynesboro, TN departed this life on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 2 Months, 19 Days. He was born April 10, 1944 in Lewis County, TN the son of the late Claude Taft and Annie Mae McClain Staggs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Staggs was preceded in death by brothers, Gene Staggs and Russ Staggs.



Mr. Staggs was a retired logger .



He is survived by son Stacy Davis; sister, Bonnie Smith of Waynesboro, TN; nephew; Roger Smith ; niece Kathy Smith; great nephews; Joshua and Matthew Tatum ; great nieces; Chesney and Kennedy Smith great great nephew; Bently Ray Tatum.
