Wanda Mae Barnett Doxsie

WANDA MAE BARNETT DOXSIE

was born in Illinois on November 27, 1924 the daughter of the late Albert William and Effie Fern Clark Barnett.

On February 14, 1954 she was united in marriage to Tracy E. Doxsie, who preceded his wife in death on April 24, 2001.

Mrs. Doxsie was a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mrs. Doxsie loved to travel, crosstitch, and sew. She was very giving, kind-hearted, full of energy, and she loved life.

Mrs. Doxsie departed this life on January 2, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 6 days.

Mrs. Doxsie is survived by her daughter, Marsha Keymon and her husband David of Savannah, Tennessee; step son, Bruce Doxsie and step daughter, Gayla Doxsie Gilhooly

one grandchild, Chad David Keymon

one sister, Dorothy Simonds

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Barnett and one sister, Vivian Stark.
