Wanda Kaye Haggard

Wanda Kaye McGee Haggard of Waynesboro, TN was born April 25, 1934 in Lutts, TN, the daughter of the late James Daniel and Elvia Hunt McGee. She was united in marriage to James Herbert Haggard, Jr. on August 22, 1953.



Mrs. Haggard was a office clerk with Haggard Farm Supply and Wayne Medical Center and had worked at Wayne County Assisted Living. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Haggard departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 14 Days.



She is survived by her husband, James Herbert Haggard, Jr. of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Marsha Haggard Barnett and husband, Rick of Hendersonville, TN; a special friend, Brittany Gobbell; a brother, Guy McGee and wife, Marie of Lawrenceburg, TN.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haggard was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Paul H. McGee; two sisters, Sue Niemic and Geneva Dockery.



Services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Chris McGee, Lee Willoughby, Martin Haggard, Jr., John Haggard, James Mark Snead, James Allen Haggard, and David Willoughby. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristen Haggard, Steve McGee, Jacob Bevis, and Jaylen Bevis.
