Wanda Lee Montgomery Hamm

Wanda Lee Montgomery Hamm was born September 7, 1944 in Decaturville, TN, the daughter of the late James Johnny and Myrtle Bell Phillips Montgomery.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Paul Hamm on May 12, 1959. Mr. Hamm preceded her in death on March 9, 2000. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. Wanda was a retired seamstress. She loved dancing with sister Evelyn and putting puzzles together with her sister Peggy. Wanda also loved gardening and sitting on the porch drinking coffee with family and visiting with neighbors Michael, Holly, Jaxton, and Jasper Jones.

Mrs. Hamm departed this life on April 9, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 7 Months, 2 Days.

She is survived by her children: Jerry Neal Hamm and wife Karen of Dyersburg, TN, Jackie Paul Hamm and wife Jacqueline of Adamsville, TN, Willie David Hamm and wife Pam of Adamsville, TN, Tanya Maness and husband Ronald of Finger, TN: two sisters, Peggy Rushing of Reagan, TN, Evelyn Pratt of Nashville, TN; two brother-in-laws, Kenneth Hamm and wife Sonja of Lexington, TN, Jeff Hamm and wife Gail of Lexington, TN; two sister-in-laws, Maxine Edgin of Scotts Hill, TN, Brenda Jones and husband Larry of Erin, TN; eight grandchildren: Katrina Wilkerson and husband Tony, Gerry Lynn Maners and husband Darryl, Greg Hamm and wife Chasity, Jennifer Burks and husband Blair, Lauren Williams and husband Nathan, Devona Hamm, Dakota Hamm, Madison Hatch; eight great grandchildren: Shelby Wilkerson, Sarah Wilkerson, Sumer Wilkerson, Nora Lynn Heath, Branch Maners, Jaycie Hamm, Layla Williams, Brody Burks; special Nieghbors, Michael and Holly Jones.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hamm was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Montgomery, Rebecca Montgomery, Neva Sue Tolley, Margie Yarbro, Marie Roach; two brothers, Earl and Carl Montgomery; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willie and Delphia Hamm.
