WARREN JONES

Henderson, TN: Warren Carrell Jones age 66 passed away November 11, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 22, 1952 in Lexington, TN the son of the late Kenneth B. and Lavon White Jones. He grew up in Jacks Creek and attended Scotts Hill High School and graduated in 1971. He married Freeda Adams his high school sweetheart on February 5, 1972. He was a brick layer all of his working life retiring due to disability in 2010. He enjoyed gardening and yardwork. He loved his family, his dogs, and his neighbors (and his neighbors loved him). He was a kind, honest, hard working and devoted husband and father. He was Pentecostal in faith.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Freeda Adams Jones of Henderson; a daughter Amy Jones Hite of Henderson; two brothers, Donald Jones (Loretta) of Jacks Creek and Darrell Jones (Debbie) of Jacks Creek and a sister, Kayron Parker (Tom) of Jacks Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Benjamin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Donald Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Methodist Cemetery at Scotts Hill, TN.

The family will receive friends at East Main from 5 PM until 8 PM on Thursday.
