Services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Junior Overstreet and Marvin Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery ,Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Pallbearers: Harlon Rich; Ricky Rich; Ricky Smith; Timothy Kephart; Dwight Rich and Josh Haddock.
Mr. Warren Rich departed this life on Friday, August 24, 2012 at his residence in Cypress Inn, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 14 Days. He was born March 10, 1922 in Lutts, TN the son of the late Dave M. and Gerdie Holt Rich. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rich was preceded in death by his brothers, Cemon Rich, Hoover Rich and Russ Rich, sisters, Lorene (Rich) McFall and Evelyn (Rich) Vickery.
He was united in marriage to Martha Nell Hensley on January 4, 1951.
Mr. Rich was a retired saw operator of 35 years with Hassell and Hughes Lumber Company . He attended Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by wife Martha Nell (Hensley) Rich; sons, Eddie Rich and Kennith Rich all of Cypress Inn, TN; daughters, Judy (Rich) Ray and Donna (Rich) Ray both of Clifton, TN; grandchildren; Cassie RIch; Chelsea Rich Haddock; Kelly Ray and Jamie Ray; great grandchildren; Riley Ray and Drew Ray; brother, Harl Rich of Florence, Al; nieces and nephews.
