Waylan Keton Mount

Adamsville, TN: Waylan K. Mount, age 94 passed away April 11, 2012 at The Bridge in Ridgely, TN.



He was born in Chester County, TN the son of the late Jessie Algie and Margaret “Maggie” Elisabeth Jones Mount. He was a veteran of WWII and was involved in five major battles in Europe receiving numerous medals for his service and valor, He was a licensed Barber by trade usually traveling to California to work then returning to TN. He has resided in Adamsville, TN for the past 40 plus years.



He is survived by one son, James Anthony Mount and wife Debbie of Englewood, FL and two grandchildren, Angela Mount of Scottsdale, AZ and Jessica Mount of FL; two great grandchildren, Ariana Flynn and Val Arbo of AZ and one great- great grandchild, Caden James of AZ; a sister, Pearl Gardner of Livonia, Michigan; two nieces, four nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clarence Mount and two sisters, Orita Schilling and Ruth Seaton.
