Waymond Austin Davis

Funeral services for Waymond Austin Davis, age 71, of Phillips Chapel Rd., Waynesboro, will be 3:30 pm Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Shackelford Chapel in Waynesboro with Jerry Robbins and H.H. Hurst officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.



Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 5:30-9:00 pm and Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 10:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mr. Davis, a lifelong resident of Wayne County, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. He was a son of the late Arnel Calvert Davis and Tinnie Pearl Fraley Davis Matlock. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Kay Davis; grandson, Jeffrey Shawn Davis; brother, Clemon Edsel Davis; and a sister, Gaston Nadine Davis. Mr. Davis was retired from Genesco and was a member at Calvary Baptist

Church where he served as a deacon.



He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Blackburn Davis; sons, Jeffrey Brian Davis and Jarrod Reece Davis; brother, Ervin Lee (Jerry) Davis; and a sister, Delta Gene Davis all of Waynesboro.
