Wayne Bowers

Wayne Bowerswas born in Montgomery County, Tennessee on January 6, 1941 the son of Annie Stepp Bowers and the late Willis Abner Bowers.On May 20, 1961 he was united in marriage to June Joy Robinson, who survives.Mr. Bowers was a truck driver for Jones Exhaust in Adamsville, Tennessee for 10 years. He had lived in Montgomery County until 1953 when he moved to Hardin County. He enjoyed fishing, eating fish, watching football and wrestling.Mr. Bowers departed this life on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 70 years, 7 months, 11 days.In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Gayla Elizabeth Mangus and husband John of Hermitage, Tennessee; a son, Wayne Gilbert Bowers, Jr. and wife Deb of Chapel Hill, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Carol Jean Roberts and husband Tommy of Vernon, Texas, Patsy Paulk and husband Lloyd of Fredrickstown, Missouri; a grandchild, Jeff Bishop; step grandchild, Chad Fox; a great grandchild, Isaac Bishop.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Bowers and a nephew, Chuck Roberts.
