Wayne Crutcher

Wayne Crutcher, born on September 3, 1943, in Nashville, TN, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who touched the lives of many. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Beatrice Thomas Crutcher. On October 29, 1976, he was united in marriage to Pamela Bennett, with whom he shared almost 48 years of unwavering devotion and commitment.

Wayne's passion for sports was evident throughout his life. A standout athlete at Goodlettsville High School, where he excelled in basketball, Wayne's love for the game continued well into his later years. Beyond basketball, he actively participated in various sports such as golf, bowling, snow-skiing, and pickleball. His presence on the pickleball court shone brightly as he became a proud elder player at Pickwick Pines Resort and also competed in local tournaments. In addition to sports, Wayne enjoyed boating, fishing adventures with friends and family, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Professionally, Wayne dedicated many years as a consumer finance executive and also successfully ran a home improvement company for over 28 years. However, beyond his professional achievements, Wayne will be most fondly remembered by family and friends as a man of integrity with a heart of gold. His warm smile had the power to brighten any room he entered. Fondly referred to as "the nicest man I've ever met" and "a blessing to us all," Wayne's kindness and generosity left an unforgettable mark on those around him.

On March 30, 2024, in Corinth, Mississippi, Mr. Crutcher entered the gates of heaven surrounded by family at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 27 days.
