Wayne Ray Presley

Wayne Ray Presley was born on October 22, 1954 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Theamon Parrish and Lillie Maebelle Myers Presley.

On August 3, 1974, he was united in marriage to Bertha Lee Murphy Presley, who survives.

Wayne retired from being the owner and operator of a logging business. He loved his dear wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a great musician and loved playing guitars and singing with his brothers and late son, Jonathan. Wayne also enjoyed watching Westerns, coon hunting, logging, and drinking coffee.

Wayne Ray Presley departed this life on November 15, 2022 in Morris Chapel, Tennessee at the age of 68 years and 24 days.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Presley of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; sons, Stacy Presley and his wife Lindsay of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Michael Presley and his wife Mistie of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Sherry Adams and her husband Robert of Savannah, Tennessee, Christy Tilley and her husband Chris of Corinth, Mississippi, and Misty Franks and her husband Casey of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; sisters, Patricia Gary, Shelia Presley, and Bonnie Murphy; brothers, Reece Presley and Floyd Presley; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded by his son, Jonathan Dewayne Presley; brothers, Eddie Presley and Woody Presley; and sister, Carol Murphy.
