W.C. Hosea

W.C. Hosea was born on September 5, 1923, the son of the late William Luther and Birdie Irene Young Hosea. On February 7, 1947, he was united in marriage to Mattie Etta Tidwell, who preceded him in death on April 14, 2011. W.C. departed this life on July 26, 2017, at the age of 93 years, 10 months, and 21 days.

W.C. served his country in the United States Army. He attended Campground United Methodist Church. Before retiring, W.C. worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for the rural areas.

W.C. is survived by his son, Donny Walton Hosea and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Ron Daniel II and wife Ginger and Amanda Daniel and husband Chris Ciavarra; and great grandchildren, Wade Daniel, Kallie Daniel, and Eric Ciavarra.

In addition to his wife and parents, W.C. was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Daniel and sister, Robbie Hosea.
