Wendy Lowrance

Wendy Lowrancewas born in Pocahontas, Tennessee on June 1, 1924 the daughter of the late Charles Howard and Lucy Ward Carr.In May of 1940 she was united in marriage to Howard Lowrance, who preceded his wife in death in October of 1974.Mrs. Lowrance retired in 1986 as a teacher for the Hardin County School System. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Savannah.Mrs. Lowrance departed this life on July 19, 2009 at Quince Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 18 days.She is survived by one son, H. David Lowrance and his wife Mary Lou of Germantown, Tennessee2 grandchildren, Tara Lowrance Teutsch and Howard David Lowrance, III4 great-grandchildren, Trey Teutsch, Rebecca Teutsch, Noah Lowrance and Cooper Lowrance and 4 step-great-grandchildrenOther than her husband and parents, Mrs. Lowrance was also preceded in death by one son, Bill Carr Lowrance, one great grandchild, Christian David Lowrance and one brother, Ben Ward Carr.
