Wilburn L. Scott was born September 8, 1939 in Waterloo, AL the son of the late Cecil Edward and Vernie Lois Cossey Scott.
He was united in marriage to Betty Sue Daniels on October 31, 1959, who preceded him in death on June 30, 2007.
Wilburn had worked for over 30 years at Sara Lee Corporation in Florence, AL, before retiring.
He was a very supportive father and a loving grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren more than anything, as well as passing time with extended family and friends.
He departed this life on August 22, 2020 in Savannah, TN at the age of 80 Years, 11 Months, 14 Days.
He is survived by: a daughter, Sabrina (Scott) Martin and husband Kenny of Collinwood, TN; two sons, Jeff Scott of Savannah, TN, Greg Scott of Savannah, TN; a brother, Jerry Scott of Savannah, TN; three sisters, Annie Lou Wilder and husband Jim of Savannah, TN, Martha Staggs of Decatur, AL, Artie Mae Shands of Savannah, TN; ten grandchildren, Dallas Scott, Keneshia Cotner, Zeth Scott, Kayla Youngman and husband Brantley, Chassity Kelly and husband Hayden, Jacob Scott, Trevor Scott, Luke Scott, Brody Scott, Daniel Scott; and six great grandchildren, Noah Salmons, Chancey Stroud, Nadia Stroud, Alexis Blevins, Gavin Franks, Elaina Youngman.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Barrier; and a brother, Billy Wayne Scott.
