Wiley Dale Byrd

Wiley Dale Byrd of LaVergne, TN was born May 9, 1940 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Wiley Alfred and Ollie Leard Spann Byrd. He was united in marriage to Barbara Allen Bradley on July 16, 1965.
Mr. Byrd was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Miracle Baptist Church and departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at his home at the age of 76 Years, 1 Month.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Allen Bradley Byrd; sons, Wiley Anthony Byrd and Bradley Allen Byrd all of LaVergne, TN; a grandchild, Tessa Breighann Byrd; a brother, Eddie Mack Byrd of Smyrna, TN and sister, Ramona Prince of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by brothers, Harvel and Ormand Byrd and sisters, Naomi Gallaher, Ira Purcell and Carmie Akins.
Services will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 3:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
