Will Houston was born March 26, 1944 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Sam and Louise Houston. He departed this life on January 16, 2023 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days.
Will served our country for 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps before retiring from the military. He enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Dinkins of Stantonville, TN and Connie Hunt of St. Mary's, GA; a brother, Sam Lee Houston of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren: Joseph Dinkins Jr., Jessica Dinkins, Robert Andrews Jr., April Andrews; eight great grandchildren: Ariana Ditty, Teirney Ditty, Jessica Castillo, Braylen Williamson, Paizley Williamson, Breanna Dinkins and Bella Florez; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Houston was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Mary Rowe Houston; second wife, Barbara Houston; four sisters: Charlotte Mettler, Martha Honaker, Mary Jane Harris, Linda Simms; a brother, James Houston.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
