William Edward Berzowski, fondly known as Bill, passed away on May 20, 2025, in Columbia, TN, at the age of 77. Born on July 21, 1947, in Pottsville, PA, Bill lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his profession, and the pursuits that brought him joy.
After completing high school, Bill recognized his passion for craftsmanship and pursued a career as a machinist through trade school. This foundation in practical skills laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial journey. In 1979, he established B & K Installations, Inc., where he served as President until the time of his passing. Under his leadership, the company became well-known for its expertise in agricultural and industrial fabrication, reflecting Bill's commitment to hard work and quality service.
Bill shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Phyllis "Sissy" Berzowski, whom he married October 7, 1968. The couple spent 43 years in Homestead, FL, following their relocation there from Phoenix Park and Forestville, PA. In 2015, Bill and Sissy moved to Clifton, TN, where they lived at the time of Bill's passing.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bill was known for his love of the great outdoors. He found immense pleasure in hunting and fishing, as well as traveling across the country on a motorcycle with his wife Sissy. However, the greatest joy in Bill's life came from the time spent with his family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Bill was also remembered as a former member of The Loyal Order of Moose in Homestead, FL, where he contributed his time and spirit to the community.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis "Sissy" Berzowski of Clifton, TN; his son, Joseph Berzowski and fiancée Rose Agostino of Loxahatchee, FL; two daughters, Joy Ocuto and husband Vincent, better known as "Jimmy," of Homestead, FL and Billie Berzowski and companion Dana Blasko of Boca Raton, FL; his granddaughter, Harper Ocuto of Homestead, FL; and many extended family and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sarah Solt Berzowski, and his daughter, Joan Berzowski. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the love he shared with his family. Bill's indomitable spirit and dedication to his work and loved ones will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
