William James Brown

William James (Runt) Brown Mr. William James (Runt) Brown departed this life on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 1 Month, 22 Days. He was born December 17, 1943 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late William James and Alice Irene Morgan Brown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a daughter, Adela Hope Brown and brothers, Paul, Perry, Sam, Jerry and Ray Brown.

He was united in marriage to Neva L. Pulley on October 3, 1964, had worked for Shull Truck Line and was a retired truck driver for Milan Express. Mr. Brown and his wife had lived in Savannah, TN forty-three years before moving to Waynesboro, TN.

He is survived by, his wife, Neva L. Pulley Brown, Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Mary Ruth Davis of Waynesboro, TN, Edie Crews of Savannah, TN, Rebecca Brown, Edith Bratcher and Edna Daniel all of Collinwood, TN and Jonnie Davis of Olive HIll, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Donnie Overton and Steven Turnbow officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Blake Davis, Byron Davis, Nathan Brown, William Davis, Ryan Webb and Jeremy Skipworth. Honorary pallbearers will be Vance Beckham, Dakota Dickerson , Allen Brown, Connor Davis and Cayden Davis

Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.
