Mr. Clifton passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home.
The husband of Sandra Fay Clifton, who survives, he retired as a machine operator at Thyssen-Krupp Elevator. Mr. Clifton was born October 30, 1945 in Hardeman County to the late Archie William Clifton and Thelma Lois Antwine Clifton. He was a member of Pocahontas Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married September 4, 1969, he is survived by a daughter, Joani Nicole Clifton of Ripley, MS; a son and his wife, Richie Lyn Clifton and Stephanie of Ripley, MS; four grandchildren, Caleb, Mary Alice, Zyler and Landon Clifton; a sister, Cratie Brown of Middleton; and three brothers, Donnie and Harold Clifton, both of Middleton and Jerry Clifton of Ripley, MS.
