William Lynn Daniels

William Lynn Daniels was born April 2, 1946 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Robert Melvin and Madgeline Cox Daniels. He was united in marriage to Tera Morris on October 24, 1964.Mr. Daniels lost his battle with cancer and gained his home in heaven on September 19, 2019 at the Wayne County Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 5 Months, 17 Days.

Mr. Daniels lived in Hardin County for over 40 years, was self employed and his past occupancies included welding, farming, logging and being a truck driver. Mr. Daniels loved to work and enjoyed working in the outdoors, daily if he could. He also was a member of the Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The past twelve years Mr. Daniels enjoyed living in Wayne County and made many new friends, that felt like family to him.

He is survived by his wife Tera (Morris) Daniels of Iron City, TN; two daughters, Tammy Green and husband Jeff of Lexington, AL, Michelle Pigg and husband Greg of Cypress Inn, TN; two sisters, Joyce Benson of Waterloo, AL, Camilla Darby and husband Gerald of Florence, AL; five grandchildren, Madison Adams and husband Chris, Bethany Brown and husband Austin, Taylor Bowling and husband Blake, Bailey Pigg, Landon Pigg;

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, , Clay Lewis Daniels, Stanley Daniels, David Daniels, Joseph Daniels; a sister, Betty Sue Scott;

Services will be held on September 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood , Tennessee, with Glen Franks, Junior Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in the Whites Creek Cemetery in Savannah, TN.

Visitation will be held Saturday September 21 from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and Sunday from September 22 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, TN.
